IIABCal Joins Data Analytics Organization To Benefit Member Agents and Brokers

PLEASANTON, CA, Sept. 4, 2019 -- IIABCal has joined IntellAgents LLC, an analytics-driven organization that specializes in geographically localized, actionable insights for independent insurance agents and brokers.

As a subscribing member, IIABCal and IntellAgents will help member agents and brokers leverage big data from throughout the country to make informed business decisions. Through partnerships with state-based associations like IIABCal, IntellAgents has access to meaningful data points across independent insurance agencies and brokerage firms.

Founded by the Ohio Insurance Agents Association, IntellAgents will be able to offer that data in the aggregate, providing meaningful business insights such as a state-specific compensation study and a bench-marking report with relevant, local data to inform users’ strategic decision making.

Data Warehouse For Agents

“We are building a warehouse of independent agent data to help agents grow and compete in the ever-changing insurance marketplace,” explains IntellAgents CEO Carey Wallace. “The benchmarks and insights we will be able to provide are far more relevant to agents than the national benchmarks that are available today.”

“We are excited to partner with our colleagues on this forward-thinking initiative to benefit our members,” IIABCal President Rob Oates said.  “IntellAgents will give users a strategic edge in today’s competitive environment. Independent agents have long been seeking this kind of real-world, localized data to help determine where they stand in their respective markets. They’re wondering, Are my employee salaries and benefits competitive? Am I performing on par with best-in-class agencies? With IntellAgents, they will finally find answers.”

Salary & Benefits Survey Participation

IIABCal will be sending member agencies a confidential salary and benefits survey in the coming days, and participation is strongly encouraged. Stay tuned for more details.  For questions about IntellAgents, please contact Clark Payan at cpayan@iiabcal.org.
